latasia sponsored families

September 5, 2011
Dear Latasia,
On behalf of the Maximum Hope Foundation, we would like to thank you for your most generous donation to our cause of $1,020.00 which was received on August 3, 2011.
Enclosed with this letter is a photo of Clayton, an adorable 3-1/2 year old boy who was diagnosed with Stage IV Neuroblastoma in 2009. In the two years that have followed, Clayton and his brave young family have endured intensive chemotherapy, surgery, radiation, and a bone marrow transplant. Just a few months after completing his treatment and being considered “cancer free,” an additional scan showed cancer cells in Clayton’s neck that had been previously overlooked, and he was forced to resume treatment earlier this year. Thanks to the benevolence of the Latasia family, we were able to make one month's mortgage payment to ease the financial burden for this gracious family.
In these tough economic times, families caring for critically ill children are more often placed in desperate financial situations. Many working parents will lose their jobs due to extended hospital stays with their child, or because they have taken too much time off to care for their little one. The challenge of coping with a child’s life-threatening illness is more than any family should have to bear, but the added fear of not being able to provide a home, food, electricity or transportation is unthinkable.
Maximum Hope Foundation is able to provide immediate assistance to families like Clayton’s who need it most. Whether it is to pay overdue bills, offer gift cards for groceries or gas, or make a home payment, your donations will always go directly to where they can make a huge and lasting impact. With every dollar you send, you are not only giving peace of mind but also reassuring both children and parents that someone cares and that they are not alone.
Thank you for your incredible support and dedication to families in crisis. You make a difference in their lives – and ours – every day.
Gratefully,Kimberley Evans
Maximum Hope Foundation
