Latasia is pleased to announce that we have partnered with The Maximum Hope Foundation. We donate all of the proceeds generated from the sales of our Maximum Hope Charm and Bracelet to the Maximum Hope Foundation.
The Maximum Hope Foundation is a non-profit organization designed to help families dealing with the financial hurdles that often accompany caring for a terminally ill child. With the rising costs of medical care, necessities like groceries, clothing, car payments, utilities, rent, counseling and 'special wishes' can seem insurmountable. The goal is to alleviate some of those every day expenses, and provide some support to families while spreading hope through compassionate, practical, assistance.
We help families with children like Isaiah, almost two years old and currently receiving treatments at two different hospitals in the Los Angeles area. Isaiah's tumor has been successfully removed and he is responding well to both stem cell implants and chemotherapy, but the stresses surrounding his battle have been overwhelming for his family. Isaiah's mother spends weeks at a time with him in the hospital, leaving a working father to care for their other two children, aged fourteen and seven. Maximum Hope used the money raised at the Latasia conference to buy gift cards for food, gas and at Target. The family is extremely grateful to the entire Latasia family for their generous donation.
